Colonel (Retired) Rick Rousseau has experience in every aspect of military law following 27 years on active duty as a Judge Advocate (JAG). He has been involved in countless of investigations, and served as a defense counsel in hundreds of cases. He served in various positions, including twice as the Staff Judge Advocate for Fort Hood, Staff Judge Advocate for First Army, and Staff Judge Advocate for the Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan. Colonel (Retired) Rousseau served two years as the Regional Defense Counsel in charge of all Army defense attorneys and services in Arizona, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas. He served two years as the Senior Defense Counsel for 2nd Armored Division & 4th Infantry Division, followed by a year in Korea serving as the Senior Defense Counsel for 2nd Infantry Division. Earlier in his career, Colonel (Retired) Rousseau served as a trial counsel (prosecutor), Chief of Military Justice, and a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney prosecuting in U.S. Magistrates Court.
